From Concepts to Chips and Beyond: Implementing Model-Driven Engineering Workflows within SELEX Galileo
Calum Brown, SELEX Galileo
As Model-Driven Engineering matures as a design approach, it is increasingly important for developers to think in holistic terms to fully leverage the power of vertically integrated toolsets such as MATLAB and Simulink. In this presentation, Calum will present a view of this paradigm shift from a SELEX perspective and will explore how the use of Model-Driven Engineering workflows based on the MathWorks toolchain has become enshrined within the product development lifecycle. A balanced review of progress to date will be given, with examples of high-performance DSP applications drawn from across the business, an outlook for the future, and an assessment of some of the key challenges remaining.
