MATLAB in the Cloud and Connecting with OSIsoft Systems | MATLAB Oil and Gas Conference 2019
From the series: MATLAB Oil and Gas Conference 2019
In this video, Tim Choo discusses how you can use MATLAB® in the cloud and in production systems. Using a framework for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions, he covers MATLAB Online™, which lets you run your MATLAB desktop in a browser and use your files through MATLAB Drive™. Tim discusses running MATLAB, MATLAB Parallel Server™, and MATLAB Production Server™ on public clouds, specifically Microsoft Azure® and AWS®.
In the second part of this session, we introduce two MathWorks developed integrations to OSIsoft® PI System™. The first imports PI historical attribute data into MATLAB for data exploration, analysis, and algorithm development. The second integration allows you to apply MATLAB algorithms to streaming data from PI Asset Framework for anomaly detection, predictive monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
