Mission on Mars Robot Challenge 2015 France
The finals of the Mission on Mars Robot Challenge 2015 took place during the Innorobo robotics event in Lyon, France. In this daylong event, 12 teams of engineers, researchers, and students competed to explore the Mars surface with Rover robots by detecting the location of exploration sites on the planet while avoiding obstacles. To complete the mission, each team had to optimize the MATLAB® and Simulink® algorithms and simulation models used by the Rover robot to make it as efficient and intelligent as possible.
