Student Competition: Physical Modeling Training, Part 8: Building Mechanical Assemblies, Section 1
From the series: Student Competition: Physical Modeling Training
Learn to create an assembly in SimMechanics™. You’ll see how to implement coordinate transforms, represent degrees of freedom, and specify body interfaces for reusability.
This is a continuation of Student Competition: Physical Modeling Training, Part 7: Building Components. You’ll position the rigid body components created in that video using coordinate transforms, specify degrees of freedom between components, and create reusable subsystems for building models more efficiently. In Student Competition: Physical Modeling Training, Part 9: Building Mechanical Assemblies, Section 2 you’ll extend this model by adding shock absorbers and implementing external force tests.
