j - Imaginary unit
Syntax
j
x+yj
x+j*y
Description
Use the character j in place of the character i,
if desired, as the imaginary unit.
As the basic imaginary unit sqrt(-1), j is
used to enter complex numbers. Since j is a function, it
can be overridden and used as a variable. This permits you to use j as
an index in for loops, etc.
It is possible to use the character j without
a multiplication sign as a suffix in forming a numerical constant.
Examples
Z = 2+3j
Z = x+j*y
Z = r*exp(j*theta)
