MLOpen - Start MATLAB^® process

Syntax

Description

Starts MATLAB process. If a MATLAB process has already started, subsequent calls to MLOpen do nothing. Use MLOpen to restart the MATLAB software session after you have stopped it with MLClose in a given Microsoft^® Excel^® software session.

Note   We recommend using matlabinit rather than MLOpen, since matlabinit starts a MATLAB software session and initializes the Spreadsheet Link™ EX software.
