cdflib.getFileBackward - Return current backward compatibility mode setting

Syntax

mode = cdflib.getFileBackward()

Description

mode = cdflib.getFileBackward() returns the backward compatibility mode.

Output Arguments

mode

One of the following text strings:

BACKWARDFILEonBackward compatibility mode is on.
BACKWARDFILEoffBackward compatibility mode is off.
