demo - Access product demos via Help browser

Syntax

Description

demo displays the list of MATLAB demos in the Help browser.

demo product lists the demos for the specified product, where product is matlab or simulink.

demo product category lists the demos for a toolbox, a blockset, or a subcategory of MATLAB or Simulink. Valid values of product are matlab, simulink, toolbox, or blockset. The category input corresponds to a category within the MATLAB or Simulink demos or to a product name other than matlab or simulink. If category requires multiple words, enclose it in single quotes. On non-English systems, category sometimes uses the localized language.

Examples

Display MATLAB demos in the Graphics category:

demo matlab graphics

Display all MATLAB demos:

demo matlab

Display demos for the Simulink product, in the Automotive category:

demo simulink automotive

Display demos for the Communications System Toolbox™ product:

demo toolbox 'communications system'

Display demos for the Simulink Control Design™ product:

demo simulink 'simulink control design'

Alternatives

Select Help > Demos from any desktop tool.
