GUI for Generalized Nonlinear Non-analytic Chi-Square Fitting

Provides a Curve Fitting Toolbox-like interface for chi-square fitting

| Watch this File

File Information
Description

FitChiTool provides an interface similar to the Curve Fitting Toolbox to the fitChiSquare function.

This allows you to perform fits using chi-square when measurement errors are known on linear or nonlinear models. It allows allows you to perform fits with multiple independent (more than one x) variables.

If measurement errors are unknown, it performs nonlinear least-squares fitting (chi-square equal to 1).

To get started with FitChiTool, run the tutorial in the included HTML documentation (or run FitChiToolExample).

Very good tool. Looking forward to more functions in the future release, such as selecting range of data to fit.

I was trying to open the GUI, but encountered following error

The help page for FitChiTool is very useful indeed. Please can you provide some similar documentation or perhaps even a tutorial for the ModelEditor? This would make the whole package dramatically more user-friendly, and broadly useful.

Many thanks.
