correlation function

help to analyse the spatial distribution of an image

Description

draw the correlation function (or correlogram) and produce a matrix with all correlation coefficients.
this is the relationship between the correlation coeffecient of an h-scatterplot and h.
the coorelation coefficient depends on h which, being a vector, has both a magnitude and a direction.

yet the begin of the function is false
you can use the function with 1 parameter, but it need 3

WHAT ARE h1 and h2??? if they are the dimenmsion of the matrix "mat", the code doesn't work! Can you explain better?! The function require three parameters!!! Thanks, [e-mail]

function doesnt account for correct number of inputs, hardcoded within. not recommended.
