The model here describes the classical SIS (Susceptible infected) Model It has been implemented using the Gillespie's stochastic algorithm. It is not meant for experts in the field but for people who need an introduction of how to implement the stochastic algorithm.

Save the three files in the same directory and run the file entitled SIS.m The figure in the screenshot will appear with the default parameter values. The values can be changed by the user and by hitting simulate, the figure is updated.
