I found that when I was building dynamic SQL questions(not included) that I missed a GUI that allowed me to choose date via a calendar and get the choice as a char date output. If someone is interested I can upload a simple dynamic SQL example(built using querybuilder). I used this generate_date_from_uicalendar as input in my SQL question to search data at certain dates.
