The multifactorial function is a generalization of the factorial function

fact(x,1) = x! = x(x-1)(x-2)...(1)
fact(x,2) = x!! = x(x-2)(x-4)...(1)
fact(x,3) = x!!! = x(x-3)(x-6)...(1)
