This submission includes measurement data of the Sharp IR Sensor that is used in a number of steps (different models) to build a plant model of the sensor. The model includes noise, high and low frequency spikes and the nonlinear characteristics of the sensor.
The knowledge from building the plant model is then used to implement proximity detection in a model that can be run on an Arduino Mega.
