1-D Finite Difference Code - Solid w/ Surface Radiation Boundary
1-D Finite Difference Code of a Serial Radiation-Conduction circuit into a solid. A Demo code; unoptimzed to show 2 techniques to handle non-linearity of surface temperature being solved in temperature array. The first is using Newton's method to estimate the surface temperature and iterate across the entire 1-D domain until global convergence is achieve. The second is to use Newton-Raphson iteration at just the surface node to determine its temperature within each loop of the global iteration to global convergence. Code is Steady state, imposed irradiance, unoptimized demo code. Derivation sheet JPG included.
