A simple inverter model have been developed using pv cell. A simple PV cell have used to get the DC output which is stepped up using boost converter. For the inverter design IGBT's are used. IGBT having many advantages compared with other switches. The output of the inverter is not sinusoidal.To get the sine wave a 2nd order system is used
