Step Response of a Fractional Order System from Frequency Data

This m-file computes and draws the unit step response of a fractional order system. To achieve this, an approximation method which is based on using of frequency data of the system is used. The frequency response of the system is considered as a set of piecewise linear parts.

The method uses the results of Levadi's forgotten work (Levadi, V.S., “Simplified Method of Determining Transient Response From Frequency Response of Linear Networks and Systems”, IRE Trans. on Automatic Control, 4(2):55-66, 1959.)
