This algorithm uses Generalized Procrustes Analysis for the case where there is a set of individuals measured in all conditions and several subsets of individuals measured only in one condition. In this structure of multivariate data the matrices are not complete, but these matrices are interconnected by the individuals that are measured in all conditions.
This particular type of data structure is frequently obtained in field evaluation of germplasm collections.
For this example we suppose there are three trials (q = 3) in which different groups of individuals (n1 =8; n2 = 9; n3
= 7) are characterized by two variables (p1 = p2 = p3 = 2) and in every trial, n = 4 common checks were evaluated.
