I have been looking at all your comments. please do not take what I wrote out of context. I still maintain that few lines of green comments may do more harm to a five statments program than good. I think that the % sign is very useful in long codes but not as much in short ones. In my case, I have included all explaination and an example in the pdf file I do not know how to do that with the % if any of you can teach me how to do it, I shall be grateful to him. Thank you for the code. Can you get total power of a signal from this?
Also, this may be too much to ask, but can you find:
(1) the frequency below which 50% of the total power is present and
(2) the frequency below which 95% of the total power is present?

Appears to work in R2011b if you merely take the transpose of one of the input matrices (I transposed "I" for the example code). The fit function requires matching sizes, with them opposing each other, the code does not complete.
