Responsibilities

Come and join us to contribute to the development of the Deep Learning framework for MATLAB, as used by software developers, scientists and engineers throughout many application and industry areas worldwide. Extend your software and algorithm development skills working on machine learning and deep learning. You will work closely with a mentor within our Deep Learning development team here in Cambridge to define and execute a project that aims to

  • Grow your software engineering skills
  • Give you experience of the full commercial software design cycle
  • Contribute directly to MathWorks products

This placement is ideally suited for students of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or other technical subjects. Available from June 2018 - September 2018

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
  • Candidates for this position must hold a valid work permit in the United Kingdom

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to describe and communicate mathematical algorithms, and translate them into code
  • Knowledge of object oriented software design is not essential, but would be an advantage
