Install Matlab on Mac 10.9.2

I want to install Matlab on my Mac 10.9.2. I've tried from version 2012a, 2012b, and 2013a. None of them worked. I got this message when trying to install: You can’t open the application “InstallForMacOSX” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.
I replaced X11 by XQuartz. Moreover, I did follow the approach explained here: http://readingsml.blogspot.no/2011/04/i-can-run-matlab-on-my-mac-again.html
I still cannot install Matlab on my Mac. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
