Linking FEEDBACK's Ball and Plate system 33-240 with MATLAB

I want to interface/integrate FEEDBACK's Ball and plate system with MATLAB. Originally the BALL and PLATE system is integrated with LABVIEW. And i need to perform image processing and Control operations in runtime. And i don't have any idea how to perform image processing in LABVIEW, So i want to perfrom all the operations in MATLAB. performing image processing in MATLAB then, controlling in LABVIEW is also not an option as i need to perfrom all the operations on runtime. And is it possible to integrate the Hardware with with both the softwares at a time? Thanks in advance for your kind answers. Regards, Ali Asghar
