Is there any way to to cut an image to two region ?

hi

I have a binary image like this

it is a lungs image..Is there any way to help to to cut this image to two lungs:left lung and right lung without connectivity?

Lots of ways... for a start, do you want to do this by hand, or "automatically" ? If you want it to be "automatic", then clustering would be a good concept to start with, such as k-means clustering .
