Get script used by Matlab after using Plot tools

6 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I have manually edited a figure in matlab using the plot tools and I would like to download the script matlab uses to add/customize the graphy from the user interface. For instance if I have
plot(x,y)
but then I go onto the figure and customize it, is there a way to download the script matlab applies?
eg:
plot(x,y) set(gca, ....]) legend(...])
Would like to learn all the intricacies of figure plotting so I can do this solely from the command line

Masao, yes there is. Once you are done editing the figure go to File > Generate Code... in the figure window.

Ahhh! I knew it was something as simple as this but I could not find the right keywords to google it. Many thanks!
