Print number overlay onto imagesc

Hi all,

I have a matrix M, with discrete values 1:7, and I create an easy colormap to visualize it with imagesc(M).

Now I would like to make the matrix possible to read also if printed in black and white and from colorblind people. How can I print on top of each square the numerical value that the matrix has on that location?
