Please help , I WANT TO INSTALL MATLAB R2018a ON UBUNTU20.04 ON WINDOWS but i have

Based on this question, it appears to be possible to install Matlab on WSL.

Why not install Ubuntu on a new SSD (preferable) or VM? WSL is only another obstacle / complication: it introduces uncertainty that can be eliminated with an SSD ./ VM.
