how to keep the size of image after print it and then scanned it again ??

hi , i have image it's size(960 * 823) after print this image on A4 paper and then scan it . scanned image became it's size (3510 * 2550). please any help to obtain the original size (960* 823) when scan this image. and what's the reasons for this problem ??

This has nothing to do with Matlab but rather with your scanning program, right? You might find the respective preferences there.
