I want to model a system invloved photo-diode for a circuit behavioral simulation in SIMULINK.
1) I have ever modeled a receiver using 'Serdes Toolbox' in SIMULINK (similar as Fig.1 shown), but i finger out the toolbox has no PD module (but it has other modules i need, that's why i want to use the toolbox). So How can i model PD using 'Serdes Toolbox' or should i use other toolboxs?

2) My another idea is to directly use RLC circuit network to model PD. However I have no idea about how to connent circuit to other toolboxs such as 'Serdes Toolbox' to do behavioral simulation.

You can use Photo Diode from the Simscape Library. “Simscape / Electrical / Sensors & Transducers”
Documentation for Photodiode.
