Stuck while modelling an EV battery to check temperature and SOC changes - model stops at start of drive cycle

6 views (last 30 days)
I have been trying to make a simulink model of an EV to check battery characteristics.
I want to see how SOC, Temperature of battery change along the drive cycle. But when I run the simulation, the model stops when the drive cycle starts. Please help in any way if you understand the problem here.
Thank you

Hi Sharan,
I understand that you want to see the SOC and Temperature change as soon as the drive cycle starts. While going through the Model, I can see that you have taken a cycle of 600 sec. I tried reducing it to 5 ,10 ,50 and 100 seconds along with adding a scope to SOC and Temperature change in the model you have provided. I can see the change in temperature. The change in SOC will not be very significant as the time for which the simulation runs is approximately 10 minutes. So,the capacity of the battery will not be affected significantly. I have attached the screenshots for both the parameters below for your reference.
Hope this answers your question.
