How to calculate the image gradient (for 100 images) for once and save it into the MATLAB workspace?

I am working on image processing for weed density estimation using Hough Transform and calculate the image gradient (Gmag and Gdir), but I have to calculate the image gradient for 100 images, how to calculate the image gradient for all the images for once so that I don't need to calculate it one by one?
