How can I issue a new startcommand from the the Datavailable-Callback in daq session?

I am using the Data Acquisition Toolbox to get data from a NI compactDAQ system.
The session is started by an external trigger and I want the system to be ready for a new trig
automatically after reading out data. I have tried to include a startbackground call in the Datavailable-Callback code, but it fails due to the 'IsRunning' - flag is still set.
