Hi, you can use it right away with support package ( info here ). Then there are some examples to go for. Also you can check my blog about Kinects: martinschatzblog.wordpress.com

On the ewbpage you mentioned; In the note it says 'Kinect for Xbox 360 is not supported by the support package.'

I am having trouble with the XBOX 360 Kinect v1 with Matlab. I go to the examples and attmept and this is the message I received.
Warning: Name is nonexistent or not a directory: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2017b\toolbox\imaq\imaqdemos\html\KinectForWindows > In path (line 109) In addpath (line 94)
This is from the KinectFor WindowsExample.m
Assist would be appreciated
