How to reproduce the following graph without knowing the data points?

I have the task of reproducing the attached figure. It is an (x,y) plot with blue dots as data points. However, no information whatsoever is given for the locations of the points except for what is visible in the figure. There are no axes labels in the figure. How can I use Matlab to extract that information and then reproduce the figure?

It is a 10 x 10 grid with points at the center of some locations.
