My asynchronous motor goes into negative RPM when I increase the torque

36 views (last 30 days)
When I increase the torque load on my asynchronous motor the motor speed (RPM) goes into decline. When operating under '0' load the motor functions correctly. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
The motor is fed via a rectifier, inverter which I have built.
Thanks

Check the switching sequence of the vsi drive. Then play with the torque value Tm to find the right value for the particular motor specification.

Hi, you should increase the value of "J" or decrease the desired torque of motor. It is a kind of overload rotating motor in opposite direction.
I hope it would help.
