how to find histograms of black runs in the horizontal and vertical directions and of white runs in the horizontal direction? anyone pls

Histogram of what? Then lengths of the runs? If so, just extract one column (or row) at a time and do the usual (thresholding and regionprops) followed by histogramming. If you need more help than that, upload your image somewhere so we can see it.
