Can I use "power_AsynchronousMachineParams" to estimate values for single cage motors?
Show older comments
Hi. I have a single cage induction motor of which I need the electrical parameters, and the "power_AsynchronousMachineParams" seems a very useful tool in determining these parameters, but as far as I can figure, it is only valid for double cage motors. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Did you find a solution to this problem or another method of calculating the parameters, if so can you please help me with that info as I need to calculate the parameters of a single cage squirrel motor.

power_AsynchronousMachineParams function estimates the electrical parameters of double cage asynchronous machine based on standard manufacturer specifications.
For single cage case it is possible to compute the five parameters using three pieces of manufacturing data P_N, PF_N, T_M and solving a nonlinear system of the form F(x)=0. For more details check the following reference:

Hi. Please could you explain in more detail? Can power_AsynchronousMachineParams be used in a single cage? If so, how would it be done?
