How to import itx file into Matlab?

I have few .itx files that I am trying to import in Matlab. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a Igor Chromatogram File? A ITRANS multilingual transliteration scheme? And XHTML archive? Or IBM FileNet eForms? Note that a 3 character file extension is not unique.
