I encounter an error 'side-by-side configuration is incorrect' when running Polyspace, at the beginning of the verification or analysis, and with every project.
What is the reason of this error and how to bypass it?

There is a file used by the Polyspace products that is missing in the installation of MATLAB: the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update.
This bug as been fixed in MATLAB R2017b. Please view the Externally Published Bug Report (EBR) at the following link for more information:
For MATLAB releases prior to R2017b, the work around for this bug is to download and install this package. It can be found at the following address:
Be aware that you have to install the right version for your architecture:
Intel : choose vcredist_x64.exe
amd64 : choose vcredist_IA64.exe
