How do I use the sprintf option for listdlg in matlab? Do I need to create a variable beforehand using sprintf or do I need to use sprintf within the brackets of listdlg?

The input argument must be a cell array of strings. Each element of the string cell array corresponds to a row in the list menu. The function "sprintf" is one way of creating a string. It doesn't matter if this string is created beforehand or inside the "listdlg" input argument as long as it is part of a cell array.
