I am an Indian student of an university. I want to buy the student version of MATLAB for my research work. Can anyone please give me the details of the buying and payment procedure? Contact sales option is not valid for the student version.

You do not say of which university you are a student. (Being an Indian student does not necessarily imply where you are.) I would point out that this page allows you to purchase the student license, although that requires you to be a student in the US.

They even tell you to contact sales if you are not in the US. If contact sales does not work for you, then I'm sorry, but nobody else can provide a license.

In the case that you are in a region where MATLAB is not made available for whatever reason, then you may need to consider an alternative to MATLAB, possibly Octave.
