How to save N number of files in to single binary data file in column major order

Hi all I am working on projection files which I saved as .tif files. In order to open them through a GUI, I should concatenate these files in to single binary data file in column major order. I tried using 'fopen'. I tried to reshape those files in order to get themas a single column file. But I got an error ,"reshape requires same number of elements". WHere do i go wrong. your help is much appreciated
