How to detect tone embedded in speech ?!

how to detect tone from speech signal using matlab ??? how to ???? is it the same as DTMF detection ?!! help plz !!

Take the FFT, look for the 2 or 3 biggest spikes and erase them. Then inverse FFT. Attach your signal if you need more help. Also say if you know the frequency of the tones. That may make it easier.
