Is there a method for finding the period of temperature data in R2007b?

1 view (last 30 days)
Good morning,
I need to find the period of temperature data, but I'm working with R2007b and ''xcorr()'', ''findpeaks()'' don't exist in this Matlab version yet. Any ideas?
Thank you

peak finding algorithms are not difficult to write yourself if you need it for a specific purpose rather than a generic 'handle all cases' algorithm.
Likewise, xcorr is just a simple manipulation of conv.

Any ideas?
Simplest, is to upgrade to something not as ancient.
Otherwise, scour the FileExchange for replacements. I know for sure that there is a findpeaks equivalent, I don't know about xcorr. Of course, there's no guarantee that these replacements will work under R2007b either.

Can't upgrade because of reasons...
I already tried those but cannot make them work :/ thank you nevertheless

What are those and why couldn't you make them work? Perhaps you should focus on making those work. Otherwise, I suspect the answer is going to be to write your own findpeaks and xcorr.
