1. create GUIDE, add Axes 2. select Axes, plot something (e.g. I use image(A)) 3. Add "Data cursor" from Toolbar Editor. I don't change anything, I just leave the default settings 4. Run the application and everything is ok. I press on the toolbar Data Cursor and I can select only points inside the Axes area. For each selection I can see on the screen the X, Y and so on.

How can I enable data cursor mode for a plot in the axes box of Matlab guide GUI? This is required to enhance data visualization. Any help is highly appreciated.
This is the feature for normal plots: http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/creating_plots/plotting-tools--interactive-plotting.html

But the cursor is displaying the screen coordinates. When I use mapshow to display the data and when I'm using the data cursor, it is displaying the screen values. How to get exact lat and long value along with the data in this case?
