choi-williams and sigma, what is an good sigma

9 views (last 30 days)
I have done some work with wigner distributions, but I recently started using choi williams distributions. I am unsure as to what sigma I should use. When I use the present value of 0.05 all my useful information disappears. From what I understand this means that the signal being removed is all cross-term. Why do I not want this. Is there a way to calculate something for sigma.

Could you please tell, which function are you using for Choi-Williams distribution? Thank you.
