Receiving and unpacking CAN messages using the NXP Toolbox

I want to use the NXP toolbox receive and unpack CAN messages without using bitwise operations in simulink. Is there any way of doing this using the NXP toolbox? Also, what kind of CAN message does the NXP FCAN receive block need as an input? Any help on this would be appreciated!
