How can i use simulink with the arduino IO package?

Hello, I can't figure out how can i use simulink with arduino IO. I have managed to use succesfully arduino target but i can't use simulink with arduino IO. I managed to send and receive through the terminal.

Arduino native support starts in R2012a. More info can be found here. Have you followed the process to connect to the Arduino Target?
