Unaccepted email address while sharing folders

The email address is not accepted while inviting to share a folder. There are two dots included in it. Does anybody know a solution to that problem. Thanks.

Are you able to give an example of the format of the email address (with names changed of course!)? For example, is it something like a.b.c@domain.com or a.b@sub.domain.com ?
