All I looked through the documentation re the heatmap graph function and didn't see the functionality I'm curious about. I'm looking for ways to fix the numerical scale the heat map is using across multiple heat map graphs so that one could look at each graph and know they were fixed to the same x and y scales and therefore comparable. Has anyone done something like this before?

Did you check the documentation and notice the 'DisplayRange', and 'Colormap' options? Try those.

I found the 'Colormap' section but I'm not seeing 'DisplayRange" in the options. Do you have a link of where you see that functionality?
Updated: think I found what you are referring to but it looks like that particular functionality for the heatmap object is only available in the bioinformatics toolbox.

Then see if caxis() helps any.
