how to retain integrity of the model while covertion of Ref Model to Non ref model

how to retain integrity of the model while covertion of Ref Model to Non ref model.

when I change from Ref to Non-Ref model , some model properties got change automatically.(In MATLAB simulink 2015b).

like Enable block Sample time changed to [0.01,0], and all inports,outports in that block as well. so i have to change manually in all inports and outports and change enable block to inherited sample time(-1).

what properties setting we need to retain the model integrity including sample time while converting Ref to Non Ref
